In case you didn't know, we can do VA construction/perm loan for stick-built or off-frame modulars anywhere in the US. This is a great way for our troops coming back from Iraq to secure their American Dream with no downpayment requirement. But, with this option, the VA will require that they have 4 months reserves. This means that they must have at least 4 total mortgage payments worth of assets in their checking/savings account.
